We're looking for a Sales Director- Fabricated Parts for one of this large Metal Fabricator's $100 million+ divisions. You will support, mentor, and coach a team of 2 Account Managers to achieve exceptional revenue and margin growth, meeting and surpassing the company's ambitious sales and profitability goals. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing the sales pipeline, providing strategic direction, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Analyze sales metrics and data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas needing improvement.
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities within existing accounts and among prospective clients.
- Conduct customer visits and manufacturing facility tours as required.
- Act as a primary point of contact to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information in the CRM system.
- Provide management with regular reports on market segment sales performance, sales pipeline, and market trends.
- Utilize sales data and customer feedback to pinpoint improvement areas and devise growth strategies.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Technology, or related discipline.
- At least 7 years of professional, outside sales experience, selling Fabricated Metal Parts to Large OEM customers.
- Responsible for at least $50 million in annual revenue
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing an Outside Sales Team.
- Contract Manufacturing Sales experience
- The ability to connect with and effectively sell to Engineers.
- Proven history of consistently meeting or surpassing sales goals.
- Must be Driven and effective in maximizing your accounts' potential.
- The ability to manage a pipeline of quotes and close the deal is essential!
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the capacity to devise innovative solutions.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively interacting with customers at all levels.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools. Microsoft Dynamics is ideal.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineered components and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to do 25-30% overnight travel, mostly in the Midwest U.S.
